Hi, I'm Natalia, The owner of Pisces Upholstery & Interiors.  My route into the industry was not as straightforward as others in my field. I found my trade later on in life when I already dedicated myself to another profession.

 

Having always had a passion for Art, I was overjoyed when I received an offer to attend Falmouth University, graduating in 2006, with an upper class Hons Degree In Fine Art. I specialised in Photography, video and printing.

Upon graduation I moved back to Warwickshire where I was accepted onto a teaching course at Warwick University. I completed my post graduate teaching qualification and went into the education sector for the subsequent 15 years.

 

My work mainly revolved around teaching mature students. My last teaching post was Course Leader, Foundation Diploma, Fine Art & Design. I enjoyed my work, loved the students and staff and still hold a passion for Fine Art related subjects however, after 15 years I felt the need for a new challenge.

In 2017 I completed a professional Diploma in Upholstery at the Traditional Upholstery School in Wiltshire and went on to work for a variety of upholstery firms in the following years. This gave me valuable experience and the inspiration to start my own business.

 

​Pisces Upholstery & Interiors was founded in 2021 with a single aim, to produce quality work that is integral to the furniture, using sustainable, quality materials, whilst keeping the art of our trade alive.
